The Context of Micah 6:8!

“No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.” – Micah 6:8 NLT

In sixth chapter of Micah, God is disciplining how Israel should live. Micah 6:8 is probably the main passage we need to look at, to know how to be obedient to Him and what He requires of people. If we look at any passages in Micah 6 other than verse eight, we might eventually come back to Micah 6:8. For example, Micah 6:6-7 are made of questions how Israel can present themselves before God and verse eight is talking about requirements of God over people. I anticipate to make the image of God as the focal point.

Listen to “You Are Good” by Israel & New Breed and meditate on the goodness of God. Whatever the Spirit of God speaks into your heart and you think of any goodness of God that have come to your life, thank Him for it!
