And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and
requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the
Lord’s people.” – Ephesians 6:10-18 NIV
I thought writing devotional series about Ephesians
6:10-18 during the Advent season of 2016. However, I think my heart was on
writing about Mark
8:31-38 because I wanted to prepare people’s hearts for Christmas, even
though those verses are not about Christmas and the birth of Jesus Christ. Now,
I feel it is right time to write devotional series about Ephesians
6:10-18. God’s written word is so rich. Although I would like to do other
things as well other than just writing devotionals, I actually do not mind how
long it takes to write a devotional each day during the holiday season. To be
more specific, I do not rush to finish them, in order to do other things.
Ephesians
6:10-18 is necessary Bible verses for all devoted followers to comprehend.
Although I do not have any qualifications of theology yet, I would like people
to grip those verses in their minds as mandatory instructions on how to wear the
armour of God in all times. The reason for this is that Satan, the enemy of
God, is prowling along to devour us, to make us feel unworthy to come to the
Lord who is the way of the truthful life. In fact, he wants to destroy us and
send us to hell at the end of our physical lives.
If you have Spotify, listen to “Armor on for Jesus” by Jesus
Peace. Thank God for putting the armor on us through faith in Jesus Christ!
